The Western Colorado Association of Environmental Health Officers (WCAEHO) consists of environmental health pracitioners primarily from the Western Slope of Colorado, but including members from around the state and local health departments.
The organization exists to:
- Maintain and improve professionalism in environmental health in Colorado.
- Foster and encourage research, education and dissemination of information related to environmental health.
- Participate in the establishment of applicable and reasonable environmental health laws and regulations.
- Exchange knowledge, experience and information to promote the highest degree of skill, efficiency and professional competence among environmental health specialists.
